PT GYRO TM

PT GYRO TM

Click here to see the PT GYROTM in action! WHAT IS IT? HOW DOES IT WORK? The PT GYROTM "Physical Training/Physical Therapy" exercise device is designed to tone, train and strengthen your core muscles which are the front and side abdominals and the lower and mid-back muscles. It also strengthens and conditions muscles of the arms, shoulders, chest and hands. It weighs less than two pounds and fits in a suitcase for travel. The secret of the PT GYROTM is in the centrifugal forces created when you gyrate its arms. The energy you put into it creates centrifugal forces that send resistance back to you. Your muscles become trained by contracting to control and stabilize these forces. You exercise at a speed that's right for you for a heavy or light workout and it's fun to use. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT? Traditional exercises that try to target the abdominal and back muscles nearly always ignore the natural rotational and twisting motions of the body. Muscles are angle specific and exercising with the PT GYROTM will tone, train and strengthen your core muscles in those different positions. This will give you a more complete and effective workout. It also provides results which are beneficial in day-to-day injury prevention. This is important in daily activities such as bending and lifting as well as virtually all sports. WHO SHOULD USE THE PT GYROTM? Persons wanting to tone, train and strengthen their front and side abdominal muscles, lower and mid-back muscles, and muscles of the arms, shoulders, chest and hands. Athletes of nearly any sport who want to improve core strength which carries over to performance. Those who desire trunk strengthening for prevention of back injury and arm and shoulder strengthening for prevention of shoulder injury. Patients in rehabilitation (under guidance of a physical therapist). Seniors who want to get a light workout to keep muscles toned. Persons who want to reduce daily stress through exercise. HOW DO I USE THE PT GYROTM? The PT GYROTM has a moveable segment in the middle with weighted, angled arms. Stand with feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent and back fairly straight. For two-handed exercises (top photo) grip the PT GYROTM in the middle of the moveable segment with one hand and then grip with your other hand at the same place and overlap your fingers. Hold it at almost full arms length away from you with a slight bend to the elbow. Now rotate your arms in small circular motions clockwise or counter clockwise to allow the arms of the PT GYROTM to gyrate. There are numerous other exercises designed to increase strength and stability. A video is included in which they are explained and demonstrated. Instructional Video Included
